Glenburn has 8 cottages and runs at 70-90% occupancy peak season. We hold a soft-block 30 days before arrival and confirm 21 days before. If Glenburn is unavailable, we substitute Selimbong (a similar working-tea-estate bungalow, 6 cottages) or upgrade you to Mayfair Hill Resort — we don't compromise the tea-estate component.
Yes — Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required for Indian citizens entering Sikkim. We arrange it on your behalf using your photo ID; processing takes 4-6 hours and we have it stamped at the Rangpo checkpost in advance. You don't need to do anything; just carry your physical Aadhaar/passport in the car.
It's a long day (12-13 hours total) but we plan it carefully — 6 AM start, lunch break, 19:30 return. The drive is the heaviest part. We can split this into a 2N Pelling extension (₹5,500 per couple) if you want unhurried Pemayangtse and Khangchendzonga falls, but most couples find the day-trip works.
Yes — it's 2,590 m altitude and pre-dawn. Tiger Hill in May/June is 4-10°C, October is 0-6°C, December-February is -2 to 4°C with frost. We provide blankets in the jeep and pack a hot tea-flask. Wear all your layers; you'll thank us.
Of course — mention it at booking and we add (no charge) a candlelit turn-down at the Mayfair on Night 1, a flower-decorated room at Glenburn on Night 5, and a private estate-walk just for you with the planter on Day 6. We also send a Glenary's bakery hamper to your room on Night 2.
