Day-by-day Itinerary
Your journey, unfolded.
- DAY 1
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi — Evening Old Quarter
Arrive Hanoi. Hotel check-in. Evening Hoan Kiem Lake walk. Egg coffee for adults, fresh coconut juice for kids. Thang Long Water Puppet Show at 6pm — kids are transfixed.
- DAY 2
Day 2: Hanoi Full Day — History & Street Food
Ho Chi Minh complex (kids find the mausoleum surprising). Temple of Literature. Old Quarter cyclo ride (pedicab) for 30 minutes — children love it. Street food lunch: banh mi and fresh spring rolls. Hoan Kiem Lake evening paddle boat (optional). Early night for the big day tomorrow.
- DAY 3
Day 3: Hanoi → Ha Long Bay Cruise
Drive to Ha Long. Board cruise by noon. Kayaking through cave arches — kids go first. Floating fishing village. Fresh seafood dinner. Night: squid fishing with bamboo rods. Children sleep in private family cabin.
- DAY 4
Day 4: Ha Long Bay → Return Hanoi → Fly to Da Nang
Tai Chi on deck at dawn. Surprise Cave. Return to marina by 1pm. Drive Hanoi (4hrs). Transfer directly to Noi Bai airport. 1-hour flight to Da Nang. Check in Da Nang beachfront resort.
- DAY 5
Day 5: Ba Na Hills — Golden Bridge & French Village
Full day Ba Na Hills. Take Asia's longest single-track cable car (5,800m). Walk across the Golden Bridge — giant stone hands holding a thread of gold above the clouds. French Village: shops, rides, mini train. Fantasy Park indoor amusement park for children. Return to Da Nang.
- DAY 6
Day 6: Hoi An Ancient Town — Lanterns, Tailors & Cooking
30-minute drive to Hoi An. Walking tour of the UNESCO Ancient Town: Japanese Covered Bridge, merchant houses, silk street. Tailoring: families get children's traditional ao dai made in 4 hours. Afternoon: family cooking class — make fresh spring rolls, green mango salad and pho. Evening: lanterns lit on the river. Children release their own lanterns on the water.
- DAY 7
Day 7: An Bang Beach — Free Day
Day at An Bang Beach (5km from Hoi An) — calm, clean, shallow, child-friendly. Rent sun loungers. Children build sandcastles. Adults swim. Lunch at beachside shack. Afternoon: optional visit to My Son Sanctuary (UNESCO Cham ruins, 2hrs from Hoi An). Return Da Nang.

Day 8: Da Nang — Depart
Free morning. Dragon Bridge walk. Transfer to Da Nang airport. Depart. Arrive home with happy, broadened children.
