Visit Ngoc Son Temple on a tiny island connected by a red bridge. Try Vietnam's famous egg coffee (ca phe trung) at Cafe Giang, a tiny cafe unchanged since 1946. Board your junk boat, wooden floors, lacquered walls, private cabin. Welcome cocktail on deck as the boat pulls away from the marina. Lunch on board while the limestone karsts begin to appear. Arrive cruise zone by 3pm: kayaking session through Luon Cave into a hidden lagoon surrounded by karsts (1 hour). 5pm: floating fishing village visit, families who have lived on the water for generations.
