Six days for couples doing Char Dham as a milestone trip, we cover all four dhams using the helicopter where it saves time and the road where it gives you the route's beauty. Two nights at Hotel Solitaire Dehradun pre/post yatra, three nights at private 4-star hotels (GMVN Barkot, GMVN Uttarkashi, Snow Leopard Resort Joshimath). Yamunotri done as a pony trek (Day 2), Gangotri by road with sunset Aarti at the Bhagirathi (Day 3), Kedarnath by helicopter from Phata (Day 4), Badrinath by road (Day 5). VIP darshan slots at every shrine. Pure-veg sattvic meals throughout. Built for couples who want the spiritual weight of all four dhams without the 14-day full-trek version that exhausts most modern yatris.

Land at DDN. Driver waits at Gate 1, 25-minute drive to Hotel Solitaire. Welcome veg dinner. Briefing by your TAT yatra-coordinator: route, weather, helicopter weight rules (75 kg/pax), Diamox dosage. Visit Sahastradhara waterfall if time permits. Early to bed, 06:00 wake-up tomorrow.
06:00 driver pickup. 8-hour drive Dehradun → Mussoorie → Damta → Barkot. Lunch at Tehri Dam viewpoint. Arrive GMVN Barkot by 16:00. Acclimatize. Dinner. Tomorrow: 6 km Yamunotri trek, pony saddled by 06:30.
05:30 wake-up. Driver to Janki Chatti by 07:00. Pony saddled, 5–6 hour round trip via Bhairav Mandir to Yamunotri (3,293m). Surya Kund (hot spring), Divya Shila, 30-minute darshan. Pony back. Late lunch at Janki Chatti. 4-hour drive to GMVN Uttarkashi (1,150m), check-in 19:00. Dinner. Visit Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi if you have legs left.
06:00 driver pickup. 100 km / 4 hours to Gangotri (3,100m), via Harsil Valley (apple orchards, pine forests). Walk from parking to the temple (10 min). Sunset Aarti slot held, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi if you can stand the cold. 60-minute darshan. Drive back, long road day, 9 hours total to Phata via Tehri Dam and Rudraprayag. Arrive 4-star at Guptkashi/Phata by 21:00. Quick dinner. Sleep, helicopter wake-up is 04:30.
04:30 wake-up. Driver to Phata helipad (45 min) by 05:30. Heli weighing, boarding, 7 minutes to Kedarnath (3,583m). VIP darshan slot held, 60-minute pooja and abhishek. Heli back to Phata by 09:30. Drive 4 hours to Snow Leopard Resort Joshimath via Karnaprayag, lunch en-route. Arrive Joshimath by 16:00. Joshimath winter-seat darshan and Adi Shankaracharya math, the original 1,400-year-old monastery, the Kalpvriksha tree. Dinner.
06:00 driver pickup. 70 km / 3.5 hours to Badrinath (3,133m) via Vishnuprayag. Spectacular climb through Govindghat. VIP darshan + abhishek pooja. Tapt Kund hot spring. Mana Village (3 km, last village before Tibet, Bhim Pul + Vyas Gufa). 14:00 drive back to Rudraprayag (4 hours), then 5-hour drive to Dehradun. Arrive Hotel Solitaire by 23:00 OR onward to airport for late-night flight, we sequence based on your flight time. Your TAT coordinator stays on WhatsApp till you board.

Four properties chosen for the route. Hotel Solitaire (4-star, Dehradun) bookends the trip. GMVN Barkot and GMVN Uttarkashi are government-run rest houses, basic-clean, pure-veg messes, the standard yatri stop. Snow Leopard Resort Joshimath is a 4-star with mountain-view rooms, the closest comfortable stay to Badrinath. All serve pure-veg sattvic meals; Jain on 24h notice.

A planner, not a call centre.
It's the floor for full 4-Dham, honest. The 5-night version uses the helicopter only at Kedarnath (saving 2 days of trekking) and condenses the road days. You won't have a free morning, every day starts before 06:00, and the Day 4-5 transit is heavy. If you can stretch to 7 nights, the pace is more humane (2 days at GMVN Uttarkashi for proper Gangotri evening, separate Joshimath leisure day). Tell your TAT planner if you'd prefer 7N/8D, we re-quote at ₹12k more.
Mostly yes, the 6 km pony trek (saddled, not walked) takes 5–6 hours round trip and is fine for fit 60-65 year-olds. Above 65 with knee/back issues, we recommend the palki upgrade (carried by 4 men, ₹4,000 round-trip, paid direct). For couples where one partner can't manage even palki, we modify to skip Yamunotri and add an extra Joshimath leisure day, you'd still do Gangotri + Kedarnath + Badrinath as 'Tin-Dham'. Standard hotel check-in is 1.30 PM and check-out 10 AM. For questions specific to your booking, message your planner.
Yes for vegetarian. For Jain (no onion, no garlic, no root vegetables), we share a written protocol with each hotel mess 7 days before travel. GMVN messes can prepare without root vegetables on 24h notice. Hotel Solitaire's restaurant Sattvic Bhojan and Snow Leopard Resort handle full Jain. Helipad and temple-area food is universally pure-veg but not Jain-clean (cross-contamination); we pack a Jain dabba option for those meals. Couple Jain group: ₹800 surcharge.
Helicopter circuits are cancelled or shortened ~15% of the time during yatra season. If Kedarnath is cancelled the day of, we offer a 1-day extension to retry next morning at our cost. If both attempts fail, we offer (a) a 100% refund of the helicopter fare (₹22,000/pax of the package value), or (b) a 16-km Gaurikund-to-Kedarnath pony-or-palki trek (₹4,000/pax direct, 14h up + 8h down spread over 2 days; total trip extends by 1 day). Most couples take the refund.
On request, we layer in (a) an evening pooja at Hotel Solitaire's in-house pandit on Day 1 (₹1,500), and (b) a private aarti slot at Gangotri (₹2,500) and Badrinath (₹5,500) instead of joining the public aarti. The Anniversary tier also includes a wedding-anniversary-couple photo at the Mana Village 'first-village-before-Tibet' sign (USD 50, photographer arranged). Total upgrade: ₹12,000/couple.
