Five nights of Hong Kong + a curated Macau day-trip for couples, the city-and-cobblestone version of an Asian short-haul that still leaves time for slow harbour evenings, a Symphony of Lights cruise, and one Michelin-starred dinner that doesn't break the budget. Base in Tsim Sha Tsui at a 4-star hotel with sky-line-side rooms, walking distance to Star Ferry and Avenue of Stars. Days are unhurried by design: Peak Tram + Star Ferry on Day 2, Lantau Big Buddha + Po Lin lunch on Day 3, Macau full-day excursion on Day 4 (Senado Square cobblestones, Ruins of St. Paul's, Venetian Macao gondolas), and Day 5 pure leisure with a Symphony of Lights cruise and a candlelight harbour-side dinner. We add the small things that make Hong Kong feel held-for-you: pre-loaded Octopus card waiting at the front desk, harbour-view rooms requested specifically, table booked at Tim Ho Wan, Symphony cruise upgraded to glass-of-bubbly + canapé service. Vegetarian, non-veg, pescatarian, we send the full restaurant list at booking and pre-book 4 dinners with menus aligned. Couples consistently call this their best long-weekend Asia trip in years.

For 5 nights with Symphony of Lights at 8pm, yes. The harbour-view room is +HK$700/night (~₹7,500/night) over the city-view, and you get the entire 13-minute light show without leaving your bed plus 5 sunsets and 5 sunrises over Victoria Harbour. Most couples say this single upgrade was the trip's quiet standout. The city-view rooms on the same floor look fine but face inland, you'll never see the harbour from your window. We pre-block harbour-view at booking. Mention 'honeymoon' or 'anniversary' for a complimentary chocolate-platter welcome upgrade.
Honest take: Macau is the unique day. The Portuguese-cobblestone old town + Ruins of St. Paul's + Venetian gondola ride is a singular experience you won't get anywhere else in Asia. The 1-hour ferry each way is fine, you nap or read. If you've been to mainland China before, the cultural-mash matters less; if not, it's a one-of-a-kind day. The alternative, an extra Disneyland or Ocean Park day in Hong Kong, is fun but feels more 'family' than 'romantic'. Couples consistently rate Macau the highlight of the trip.

Standard hotel check-in is 1.30 PM and check-out 10 AM. For questions specific to your booking, message your planner.
For couples, yes. The free harbour-side viewing on TST Promenade is good but crowded (especially Friday-Saturday-Sunday); the cruise gives you 90 minutes on a glass-top boat anchored mid-harbour for the 8pm show, plus a glass of bubbly and canapé service. Quieter, more romantic, and the photos are different (skyline reflected in water). We include this in the package because it consistently makes the trip's photo-album highlights.
Aqua isn't Michelin-starred but the harbour view from the 30th floor of ICC is among the best dining views in Asia. The 5-course tasting menu is contemporary Italian-Japanese (sushi + pasta + a pretty dessert), well-priced for what's on the table. If you specifically want a Michelin-starred night, we swap Aqua for Lung King Heen at the Four Seasons (3-Michelin-star Cantonese) at +₹4,500/person or Above & Beyond at the Hotel Icon (1-Michelin-star Cantonese) at +₹1,500. Both can be arranged, message at booking.
October-December is the sweet spot, dry, 18-25°C, low humidity, clear skies for Peak views, Christmas decorations from late November making the harbour magical. November-early December is the romantic peak. NYE week is iconic for fireworks at Victoria Harbour. Avoid June-September (typhoon season, hot, wet). January-February cool but works if you don't mind 12-18°C, Lunar New Year week (varies, late Jan / early Feb) ultra-peak, often skipped by couples for the crowds.
