Overview
What makes this journey unforgettable.
Six nights of Hong Kong + Macau for your friends or extended family group of 6+, the city short-haul that pairs neon-and-dim-sum with a Pearl River Delta cobblestone day, plus 6 evenings of Symphony of Lights views from a TST hotel. Base in Tsim Sha Tsui at a 3-star group-friendly hotel near Star Ferry pier. The group plan keeps the Hong Kong highlights (Peak + Star Ferry, Lantau Big Buddha, Macau day-trip, Tim Ho Wan dim sum) and adds flexibility for the inevitable group-splits (Disneyland for the families-with-kids contingent, Ocean Park for the thrill-ride people, LKF for the night-out crew). Group rate kicks in at 8 paying adults on twin-share; quoted rate is per person. Single-rooms available at +₹22,000/person/6 nights. We use a private mini-coach for transfers + Lantau day, and the MTR (with pre-loaded Octopus cards) for everything else. Solo travellers in mixed-gender groups: same-gender pairing unless you tell us otherwise. For the group that wants 'two countries on one trip' bragging rights and the photogenic Symphony of Lights group photo every evening.

Common questions
Things travelers always ask.
What's the minimum group size for this rate?
8 paying adults on twin-share for the quoted rate. Below 8, we re-quote at the standard couple/family rate (about 12-15% higher per person). Above 12 we offer a 5% group leader discount, the person who books and coordinates pays less. Above 20 we add a second mini-coach and a second guide; rate stays the same per person.
How do single rooms vs twin-share work for mixed groups?
Group rate quoted on twin-share. Single occupancy is +₹22,000/person for the 6 nights at the 3-star hotel (Hong Kong is expensive). We typically allocate twin-share by same-gender pairing unless the group leader specifies otherwise. Solo travellers in the group: tell us at booking and we either match you with another solo of the same gender or upgrade you to single at the supplement.
Does the group split day work, won't we lose people?
We've run this exact 'group split day' for 30+ Hong Kong groups in 5 years, it consistently is the trip's best day. Each sub-group goes where it actually wants to go (Disneyland for the families, Ocean Park for the thrill-seekers, Aberdeen for the chill crowd), comes back recharged, and the dinner that night is the loudest of the trip. Group leader manages the WhatsApp logistics; we send a printed schedule with sub-group times. Nobody gets lost, Hong Kong has CCTV everywhere and everyone has a hotel to return to.
Do we need separate Hong Kong + Macau visas?
Hong Kong has a Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR) for Indian passport holders, free, online, takes 1-2 working days. We apply for the entire group 7-10 days before travel. Valid for 6 months, multiple-entry, 14-day stay each visit. Macau is visa-free for Indian passport holders up to 30 days, just walk in. No paperwork needed for Macau. We send the full document checklist by email.
What if 1-2 people in the group cancel last minute?
Honest answer: depends on how close to travel. >30 days out, 100% refund for cancellations. 15-30 days, 75%. 7-15 days, 50%. Within 7 days, refund covers only what we can reclaim from the hotel/airline (typically 0-30%). The remaining group's price doesn't change, we lock in the group rate at 8+ regardless of last-minute drops, and we'd rather the travelling group has a great time than the cancellation messes up the cost split.
