Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Since Leh is situated at a high altitude, the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization. Relax at your hotel and enjoy the stunning mountain surroundings. In the evening, take a gentle stroll through Leh Market if comfortable.
After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical attractions of Leh. Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame Museum, and Spituk Monastery. Spend time exploring Leh Market and shopping for traditional Ladakhi handicrafts and souvenirs.
After breakfast, drive through the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the world's highest motorable roads. Enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped peaks and rugged Himalayan landscapes. Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, visit the famous Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy an optional camel ride on the double-humped Bactrian camels.
After breakfast, proceed to Turtuk, one of India's northernmost villages and a gateway to Balti culture. Explore traditional Balti houses, apricot orchards, scenic mountain views, and interact with the warm local community. Learn about the unique history and culture of this fascinating border village before returning to Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, travel to the picturesque village of Sumur, located on the banks of the Nubra River. Visit the historic Samstanling Monastery and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Continue to Panamik, famous for its natural hot water springs believed to have therapeutic properties. Relax amidst the stunning Himalayan scenery before returning to your accommodation.
After breakfast, drive towards the world-famous Pangong Lake through the scenic Shyok River route. Witness dramatic mountain landscapes and remote Ladakhi villages along the way. Upon arrival, marvel at the crystal-clear waters of Pangong Lake, known for its ever-changing shades of blue.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the region. En route, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School). Arrive in Leh by evening.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sham Valley. Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Sangam Point where the Indus and Zanskar Rivers meet. Explore Alchi Monastery, one of Ladakh's oldest and most beautiful monasteries, before returning to Leh.
