Seven days for friend gangs and corporate offsites, the full Cambodia loop, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, designed for a tight group of 8–16. Four nights at Memoire d'Angkor in Siem Reap (Pub Street is 200 metres away) and two nights at Sun & Moon Urban Hotel in Phnom Penh (the Royal Palace is across the boulevard). Private group coach for transfers, group-block flights between cities, group photographer at Angkor sunrise. Two private guides, one for each city, Mr Sopheak in Siem Reap and Sokha in Phnom Penh, both we've worked with for years. Apsara dinner-and-dance, Phare circus, a sobering S-21 / Killing Fields half-day in Phnom Penh, and a Mekong sunset cruise to balance the heaviness. Built for groups who want the brochure plus the substance.

Group lands at REP. Visa-on-arrival in the airport, USD 30 each, two passport photos. Group coach pickup, 20 minutes to Memoire d'Angkor. Block-floor check-in by 14:00, briefing in the lobby. Afternoon by the courtyard pool. Evening Pub Street group walk: Old Market, Khmer Kitchen for amok trei, Pub Street's Angkor What? bar for the first round of Cambodia drafts. Group picks the dinner restaurant from our shortlist (Marum, Khmer Kitchen, or Genevieve's).
04:30 wake-up. Coach leaves Memoire at 04:45. 20 minutes to Angkor Wat west gate. Mr Sopheak and our group photographer lead the lake-side reflection-pond viewpoint. Sunrise lasts 30 minutes; everyone gets the silhouette photo. Breakfast at Angkor Cafe across the road. Continue into Angkor Thom: South Gate, Bayon (216 stone faces), Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants. Back at Memoire by 12:00 for pool-deck lunch and a long siesta. Free evening.
08:30 group coach. Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple), Mr Sopheak finds the tree-root corner the tour buses skip. Lunch at Sala Bai (former at-risk-youth hospitality school, the lemongrass chicken is excellent). Afternoon Banteay Srei (30 km north), quiet by 14:00. Back in town by 17:00. Group dinner-and-dance at Cambodian Cultural Village, we hold the front-row group table, Apsara classical performance.
08:30 group coach to Kompong Phluk, the genuine floating village 30 km south, less commercial than Chong Khneas. 90-minute boat ride into the mangrove flooded forest, lunch at the floating restaurant on stilts. Back in town by 14:00. Free afternoon, Bodia spa group rate (USD 22/pax for 1h Khmer massage, optional), or rooftop pool. 19:00 Phare, The Cambodian Circus, acrobatics, music, theatre, social-enterprise tickets we've held; runs 1h15. Late dinner at Marum (Tree-Alliance, exceptional).
Slow morning. 09:00 group coach to REP airport for the 11:30 Cambodia Angkor Air group flight to PNH (45 min). 13:00 lands at Phnom Penh, coach to Sun & Moon Urban Hotel. Block-floor check-in by 14:00. Afternoon Sokha leads the Royal Palace + Silver Pagoda walk, the Pagoda's floor is 5,000 silver tiles and the kids gawk. Dinner at FCC Phnom Penh on Sisowath Quay, second-floor riverside table, Mekong-meets-Tonle-Sap views.
Heavy-paced morning, but it's the reason you came. 08:00 Sokha leads S-21 (Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum), the former school turned interrogation centre, audio-guide included, allow 90 minutes. 11:00 coach to Choeung Ek Killing Fields, 17 km out, allow 90 minutes with the audio-guide. The mood is somber by design; we don't rush. Lunch back in town at Romdeng (former at-risk youth, vegan and vegetarian heavy). Afternoon free for Russian Market shopping (handicraft, antiques, a knockoff-watch row that's funny but skip). 17:30 Mekong sunset cruise from Sisowath Quay, 90 minutes on the river with Cambodia drafts and sliders, the sun goes down behind Wat Phnom. Group farewell dinner at Romdeng (we hold).
Slow farewell breakfast at Sun & Moon's rooftop. Late checkout till 13:00 (we hold). Last walk through Wat Phnom, the temple-on-the-hill the city is named after. Group coach to PNH airport, international check-in 2 hours before departure. Your TAT planners stay on WhatsApp through wheels-up.

End of trip
Two boutique 4-star hotels picked for groups. Memoire d'Angkor sits 200m from Pub Street and 400m from the Old Market, the courtyard pool and the rooftop bar are where the group hangs out. Sun & Moon Urban Hotel in Phnom Penh sits across the boulevard from the Royal Palace, with rooftop sky-bar views over the Mekong meeting the Tonle Sap. Both block-book floors for groups; both serve veg-friendly breakfasts as standard.

8 to 16 is the sweet spot. Below 8, the Memoire d'Angkor and Sun & Moon block-floor rates don't trigger and the per-pax cost rises ~USD 80. Above 16, the coach splits and the Apsara front-row table no longer fits one. We've run this with 11 corporate offsite groups and 13 college-friend gangs in the past 18 months.
Honest answer, it can be. We hold the morning sober and quiet, and follow it with Romdeng (a youth-training restaurant whose existence is itself a Cambodia recovery story) for a slow lunch. Most groups process it together at lunch and the afternoon's Mekong cruise resets the energy. If your group is purely about-fun (a 30th-birthday gang, say) we can swap S-21 for Tonle Bati + Phnom Tamao Wildlife instead, tell us at booking.
Cambodia runs on USD as primary currency. ATMs dispense USD. Most prices in restaurants, hotels, and tuk-tuks are quoted in USD. Riel is given as small change, 1 USD = ~4,100 KHR. Carry USD 400/pax in mixed denominations (no USD 100s for street vendors), and you'll get Riel back as change. Forex cards (Wise/Niyo) work at REP and PNH airport ATMs for top-ups.
Yes. We confirm veg/Jain/halal counts at booking and pre-share with each restaurant. Apsara dinner at Cambodian Cultural Village runs a clearly-labelled veg buffet section. Romdeng farewell dinner is veg-strong (the chickpea fritters and the eggplant amok are the calls). Indian options on free evenings: Maharajah Mahal (Siem Reap), Bombay Brasserie (Phnom Penh, Sisowath Quay). Jain on 7-day notice.
Cambodia Angkor Air operates the REP → PNH route on a 70-seat ATR, we block-book 12 seats together for groups of that size. Flight is 45 minutes. 23kg check-in + 7kg cabin per pax. We file the booking 60+ days out for cleanest fares; budget USD 95–USD 130/pax built into the package. Bus is 6 hours and we don't recommend it for groups (one delay holds 12 people up).
