Italy lands different when you land it as a group of 8+. The Colosseum opens earlier, the Uffizi reservation block is yours, and the gondola fleet at Cannaregio takes everyone in one wave instead of pairing strangers across boats. We move Rome (2N) → Florence (2N) → Venice (2N) on Frecciarossa high-speed trains, 90 minutes Rome→Florence, 2 hours Florence→Venice, no airport faff. A mini-coach handles all station and dinner transfers. Group dinners are pre-booked at three restaurants that actually do well-paced Italian for tables of 10+ (Roscioli's pasta lab in Rome, Mercato Centrale's first-floor tables in Florence, Cantina Do Mori's cicchetti boards in Venice). Single supplement available, group leader trips free at 12 paying adults.
Colosseum + Roman Forum on a private licensed guide, group skips the 90-minute switchback queue at the Arch of Constantine entrance
Vatican Museums + Sistine Chapel pre-paid Wednesday morning slot, group leader entry first to anchor the meeting point at the Pinecone Courtyard
Frecciarossa first-class group block Rome→Florence, 6-seat compartments, group together, table seating
Uffizi Gallery reserved entry slot, Botticelli rooms (Birth of Venus, Primavera) at 9:30am before tour-bus crowds peak at 11
Tuscan dinner at Mercato Centrale Florence, first floor, 8 communal tables, multiple vendors so dietary preferences across the group are handled
Florence to Venice Frecciarossa, 2 hours, doors open straight to the vaporetto stop at Santa Lucia
Venice gondola fleet at Cannaregio, 4 gondolas, 4 paying-adults each, single fleet pricing instead of paying tourist row at San Marco
Murano + Burano half-day boat with private group jetty, colour-house photo stops at Burano scheduled before lunch when light is best
Cicchetti and ombra crawl in Cannaregio, Cantina Do Mori, All'Arco, Al Squero, three stops, group of 10–14 fits

Evening cicchetti walk through Cannaregio, Cantina Do Mori (oldest bacaro in Venice, 1462), All'Arco, Al Squero, 3 stops, drinks and small plates included.
Breakfast 8am. 9am St Mark's Basilica skip-the-line + Doge's Palace + Bridge of Sighs, 2h licensed guide. Mid-morning espresso break at Florian (the 1720 café on Piazza San Marco, €12 for a coffee but the Galileo Room is worth it once). 11am private boat to Murano, glass-blowing demo at a registered foundry, no aggressive sales pit, then 30 minutes to wander the canals. Group rate is built for 8 paying adults on twin-share. Below 8 we re-quote you onto our standard couple itinerary (5N/6D) with private guides, usually within ₹15–20k of this rate per person. Above 12 paying adults the group leader trip is complimentary; above 16 we add a second mini-coach for transfers.
If you're joining solo and want your own room across the trip, the supplement is roughly ₹26,000 over the 6 nights. We can also pair you with another solo traveller of the same gender on twin-share at no supplement, about 30% of group bookings ask for this and it usually works out fine.
Absolutely, Day 4 in Florence and Day 6 evening in Venice are deliberately loose. The Boboli Gardens, Oltrarno workshops, Chianti wine half-day, and the Skyline aperitivo are all opt-in. Mini-coach is on standby on group days but you're free for personal time. We just need a noon-of-prior-day RSVP for the optional Chianti excursion (separate cost).

Standard hotel check-in is 1.30 PM and check-out 10 AM. For questions specific to your booking, message your planner.
We've A/B-tested this, first-class is ~₹2,200/person extra over the two legs and you get table seating in 6-seat compartments where the group sits together, plus included refreshments. Second-class scatters the group across the carriage. For 8+ travellers the first-class block is worth it; if budget is tight we'll downgrade and bunch you in adjoining rows.
Yes, Roscioli runs a vegetarian carbonara variant and a gluten-free pasta option. Mercato Centrale is the easiest because each vendor handles a different cuisine, so the group fans out and orders to preference. Cantina Do Mori has cicchetti on toast (substitutable to GF crackers) and pickled vegetable plates. Tell us at booking and we lock it in 2 weeks before departure.
Apply through Italy VFS (you're spending the most nights in Italy). Apply 4–6 weeks ahead, all together, group appointments are faster than individual slots. We provide the booking confirmation, hotel vouchers, train tickets, and travel insurance certificate. Schengen requires €30,000 medical coverage minimum; we book through Tata AIG at ₹650/day. Refusal rate for documented group tours is under 3% in our experience.
