After an early breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via the mighty Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world and the gateway to the Siachen Glacier. Once under Pakistani administration until the 1971 Indo-Pak War, Turtuk offers a unique blend of Balti culture, traditional architecture, and stunning landscapes. Explore apricot orchards, interact with locals, and enjoy spectacular views of the Karakoram Range. Return to Hunder in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. Drive alongside the Shyok River through picturesque villages surrounded by rugged mountains.
