Crafting your travel…A Maldives honeymoon from India costs ₹1,40,000 to ₹1,95,000 per person at Trust and Trip, land only. Book 4 nights, not 7, and check the meal plan first.

A Maldives honeymoon from India costs ₹1,40,000 to ₹1,95,000 per person on Trust and Trip's live prices, which is ₹2.8 lakh to ₹3.9 lakh for a couple, land only. International flights are extra on every one. For most couples, the best-value booking is 4 nights, not 7.
That's the short version. The longer one is about what each price actually buys. In the Maldives the resort is the whole trip: you'll eat, swim and sleep on one island, so the meal plan and the airport transfer matter more here than almost anywhere else an Indian couple might go.
These are Trust and Trip's live Maldives couple prices on 7 October 2026, per person on twin sharing, land only.
The Glorious Machchafushi Island Resort Holiday is ₹1,40,000 for 4 nights, with daily breakfast and return airport transfers. The Maldives Luxury Escape at Furaveri Resort is ₹1,42,000 for 4 nights, split between 2 nights in a beach villa and 2 in an ocean villa with a jacuzzi, with daily breakfast, one floating breakfast and a 15-minute spa massage. The Maldives 5N/6D Overwater Romance at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is ₹1,95,000 for 5 nights in an overwater pool villa, with all meals and seaplane transfers listed as included. The Maldives 7N/8D Premium Couple Overwater Escape is ₹1,80,000 for 7 nights in an overwater villa, with breakfast, 2 dinners and a seaplane round trip.
The cheapest Maldives listing Trust and Trip has, at ₹98,000, is a 4-night diving trip built for solo travellers. It isn't a honeymoon.
Double it. For a couple, land only: ₹2,80,000 at Machchafushi, ₹2,84,000 at Furaveri, ₹3,60,000 for the 7-night overwater trip and ₹3,90,000 at the Conrad.
Then add return flights for two from your departure city to Malé, which we haven't priced because the fare moves with the city and the dates. Then add the meals your package doesn't cover. That second line is the one couples underestimate.
Because there's nowhere else to eat. A Maldives resort usually has its island to itself, so every lunch and dinner that isn't in your package is bought at that resort's prices. You can't walk down the road to somewhere cheaper.
Both 4-night Maldives packages include breakfast only. That makes ₹1,40,000 and ₹1,42,000 look further from the ₹1,95,000 Conrad trip than they really are, because the Conrad price lists breakfast, lunch and dinner for all 5 nights. Before you compare them, ask Trust and Trip for a half-board or full-board quote on the 4-night resorts. We aren't printing resort meal prices here, because they vary by resort and season and a number that's stale by December is worse than none.
If you're vegetarian, ask two questions rather than one: what's on the menu, and whether it's covered.
Check this first. Getting from Malé airport to a resort island is either a speedboat or a seaplane, depending on how far out the island is, and a seaplane is a real line item of its own.
Machchafushi lists return airport transfers. The Conrad and the 7-night trip list seaplane transfers. The Furaveri package doesn't list a transfer in its inclusions at all, though its itinerary describes one on arrival day. Its itinerary also mentions a candlelight dinner on the fourth night that isn't in the inclusions list. Neither gap may turn out to matter. Get both in writing before you pay a deposit.
Furaveri at ₹1,42,000 per person, if the transfer is confirmed as included. It costs ₹2,000 more than Machchafushi and gives you two kinds of room on one trip: two nights on the beach, then two over the water with a jacuzzi. The floating breakfast and the massage are small things, but they're what make a 4-night Maldives stay feel like a honeymoon rather than a hotel booking.
Per night, Furaveri works out to ₹35,500 per person and Machchafushi to ₹35,000. If Furaveri's transfer turns out not to be included, the gap stops being ₹2,000 and Machchafushi becomes the better buy.
For most couples, no. The 7-day package is the most common version of this question that reaches Trust and Trip, and the honest answer is that days five, six and seven at a single-island resort tend to look a lot like day three. Snorkel, eat, swim, sunset. Lovely, and the same.
If you do want 7 nights, the overwater trip at ₹1,80,000 per person is Trust and Trip's only Maldives listing that long. On paper it's the cheapest per night here, about ₹25,700 per person. But it includes breakfast and just 2 dinners across 7 nights, so the resort meal bill runs for longer too. Get the full-board figure before you decide it's the bargain it looks like.
For a lot of couples, a better use of a week's leave is 4 nights in the Maldives and the rest somewhere with more to do. Ask a planner to price that against the 7-night stay.
Trust and Trip's own Maldives listings mark December to April as peak months and May to November as shoulder months, and the Maldives destination page gives November to April as the best time to go. If you're marrying in the winter wedding season, your dates are already in peak, so book early rather than waiting for a price drop.
None of these packages publishes a separate shoulder-season price, so don't assume an off-season booking is automatically cheaper. Ask for a quote on your preferred dates and on a shoulder-month alternative, and compare the two.
Couples who want to do something different every day. The Maldives rewards staying still. If your idea of a honeymoon is markets, food streets, day trips and a night out, you'll be paying resort prices to be bored by day four, and Bali or Thailand will suit you better for less.
Couples whose total budget is under about ₹3 lakh including flights. The cheapest honeymoon-suitable Maldives package here is ₹2,80,000 for two before a single flight or lunch. Andaman gives you a similar beach-and-water honeymoon on a domestic ticket, with no international fare to add.
And couples who'd rather not read the inclusions list. In the Maldives, what's left out costs more than it does almost anywhere else you could go.
Start with the Maldives destination page for every current trip, or go straight to the Furaveri split-stay honeymoon. Either way, ask your planner three things before you pay anything: is the transfer included and by what, what does full board cost, and what's the total for two including flights from your city.
