Crafting your travel…A Thailand family trip from India costs ₹22,500 per adult for six days in Pattaya and Bangkok at Trust and Trip, land only. Here's which trip to book.
A first Thailand family trip from India costs ₹22,500 per adult for five nights in Pattaya and Bangkok on Trust and Trip's live prices, land only. For two adults and two children under 12, the 4N/5D Family Tour comes to ₹68,000 before flights.
That's the headline. The more useful finding is that two Thailand family trips we sell cost exactly the same, and one of them includes a lot more.
These are Trust and Trip's live prices on 26 September 2026, per adult, on twin sharing, land only. International flights aren't in any of them.
The Bangkok Pattaya 4N/5D Family Tour is ₹22,500, with children under 12 at ₹11,500. Thailand Unveiling Charm, five nights in Pattaya and Bangkok, is also ₹22,500. The Best of Pattaya and Bangkok Getaway is ₹27,500 for five nights, with children under 12 at ₹14,500. The Kids Friendly 2N Bangkok, 3N Pattaya trip is ₹32,500, children under 12 at ₹16,500. The Thailand 6N/7D Bangkok and Phuket Family trip is ₹39,500, children under 12 at ₹19,500. At the top, the 7N/8D Family Explorer across Pattaya, Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket is ₹45,000, children at ₹22,500.
Children under 5 are listed at nil on every Thailand family trip that publishes a child price. Ask Trust and Trip what that covers before you count on it. It often means no extra bed and no separate seat on tours.
For two adults and two children under 12, land only: ₹68,000 on the 4N/5D Family Tour, ₹84,000 on the Best of Pattaya and Bangkok Getaway, ₹98,000 on the Kids Friendly trip, and ₹1,18,000 on the six-night Bangkok and Phuket trip.
Add return flights for four, which we have not priced here because they swing with your city and dates. Add GST and TCS, which several of these listings charge on top. And add a daily float for lunches, since most Thailand family trips we sell include breakfast and only the meals named on tour days.
Thailand Unveiling Charm, at ₹22,500. It costs the same as the 4N/5D Family Tour and gives you a sixth day. It also names far more in its inclusions: the Coral Island speedboat trip with lunch, the Alcazar show, the Bangkok city and temple tour, and a full day at Safari World and Marine Park with lunch. The airport and intercity transfers are private.
The 4N/5D Family Tour's inclusions list is short: four nights, breakfast, and the airport and intercity transfers. Its day-by-day plan describes a Coral Island day with lunch and a city tour, and Safari World is an add-on. If you book it, ask Trust and Trip to confirm in writing which of those days are paid for.
The trade is hotels. The 4N/5D Family Tour puts you in four-star rooms at Glow Pattaya and Ramada by Wyndham Bangkok Sukhumvit 11. Unveiling Charm uses three-star hotels, Pattaya Loft Hotel and The Seasons Bangkok Huamark. If your family will spend real time at the hotel, the four-star trip may be worth its missing day. If you'll be out all day, it isn't.
One thing to ask about Unveiling Charm: its listing doesn't publish a child price. Get the figure for your children's ages before you compare it with anything else.
For children aged about 6 to 12 who want something to do every day, it can be. It's the Thailand family trip we sell that is built around children: Nong Nooch Garden, Ramayana Water Park, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World and Safari World, with four-star hotels in both cities.
Two cautions. There's no free day in it, so a tired eight-year-old on day four has nowhere to go but the next attraction. And the first day includes Tiger Park and a dolphin show. If you'd rather your children didn't see captive tigers and performing dolphins, ask before you book whether those can be swapped.
For under-5s it's poor value. Unveiling Charm covers Coral Island and Safari World for ₹10,000 less per adult, and a three-year-old won't know the difference.
Pattaya and Bangkok for a first trip with young children. Every Pattaya family trip we sell drives you from Bangkok airport to Pattaya by road, so there's no second flight, and the island day is Coral Island, off Pattaya's own coast.
Phuket for older children who'll enjoy a proper boat day. The six-night Bangkok and Phuket trip at ₹39,500 includes the Bangkok to Phuket flight and a Phi Phi Islands speedboat tour. Its day-by-day plan has two nights in Bangkok and four in Phuket, although one line of its listing says three and three, so confirm the split.
One honest note on Pattaya. Two of our itineraries suggest Walking Street as an evening option. It's a nightlife strip, and not an evening for young children.
It depends on which school holiday you have. Trust and Trip's own Bangkok and Phuket listing notes that the Andaman monsoon begins in June and that September is Phuket's wettest month, with boat tours often cancelled. Its season notes have the seas settling in November.
So a family travelling in the May and June school holidays should book Pattaya and Bangkok, where our listings mostly mark June to August as shoulder or off season and nothing depends on a boat. A family travelling over the Diwali break or at Christmas can do Phuket. Expect those weeks to be priced above the figures here, since November to March is marked peak on almost every Thailand family listing we have.
International flights, on every trip here. Travel insurance. Lunch and dinner outside the meals each listing names. Optional water sports at Coral Island, which is where children usually ask for the parasailing. GST and TCS where the listing adds them.
Entry rules for Indian passports. They have changed more than once in recent years, and any rule printed in an article is only as current as the day it was written. Trust and Trip checks the requirements against your dates and every passport in the family when you book. We'd rather do that than print a rule here that goes stale.
The 3N/4D Bangkok Pattaya Budget Tour at ₹16,500. It's the cheapest, but it gives Bangkok a single night, and the listing's price breakdown shows ₹19,500 on double sharing against the ₹16,500 headline. Ask which one applies before you book it.
The 7N/8D Family Explorer at ₹45,000, if your children are small. It uses four hotels in seven nights, with a single night in Krabi, and it needs at least four people to run. That's a lot of packing and unpacking for a seven-year-old.
A family that wants one hotel all week. Every Pattaya and Bangkok trip here changes hotel at least once. The only Thailand family listing that stays in one place is the Phuket 3N/4D at ₹19,500, and its inclusions don't list any meals.
A family with a toddler who handles cars badly. Each Pattaya trip starts with a road transfer from Bangkok airport on the day you land.
