Char Dham is the four-shrine yatra to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, made in a clockwise circuit through the Garhwal Himalayas between Akshaya Tritiya (late April) and Bhai Dooj (early November) each year. It is a 10-to-11 night journey by road or a 5-to-6 day journey by helicopter, and for most yatris, the trip of a lifetime. We've delivered the yatra for over 600 yatris since 2019, with a senior-friendly pacing model that has earned us a 95%+ repeat-or-referral rate among multi-generational family groups.

The season opens each spring on Akshaya Tritiya, when Yamunotri and Gangotri open first, with Kedarnath and Badrinath following within days, and runs through to Bhai Dooj in early November. Exact opening dates are set by the temple committees on the Hindu Panchang and announced 60-90 days ahead, tell us your travel month and we confirm the live dates for that year. Our road yatras run ex-Lucknow (most popular for UP/MP yatris), ex-Haridwar (for those flying or training to Dehradun), and ex-Delhi. The helicopter option lifts off from Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun and covers all four dhams in 5 days. Both run with a doctor on call, sattvik Brahmin-cooked meals, and palki/pony arrangements pre-booked at Kedarnath and Yamunotri.
