Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in the Trikuta hills outside Katra (Jammu) draws 10M+ pilgrims a year. The 13km trek from Katra to Bhawan (or helicopter from Katra to Sanjichhat, then a 2km walk) is the core yatra. Bhairon Baba temple sits 2.5km above the main shrine and is considered essential to complete the darshan.
